Half of OF DARKNESS AND LIGHT's part 1 is complete! I finished it in one day, which makes me extremely happy! I have a very clear plan for the rest of the plot, so that should be done in no time. I can't wait to share this story with y'all! These main characters are very close to my heart and always will be, so if you take the time to check out this story before and after it's fully published, that would mean so much to me.

Okay so I was writing a part in a story that I hope to publish on here, and I wanted to share this (*cough cough*) romantic scene with y'all! Now, I'm not that big on romance, unless it's only in a small portion of a story, not the whole thing. So, what do you think about this?? (I think it’s the best kissing scene I’ve EVER wrote!) (Names are hidden because I might be publishing this story that this excerpt belongs to)

               She watched, her heart suddenly racing, as he took her hand in his when the hall was empty. He lifted it and wrapped his free arm around her torso, pulling her closer to him. “What are you—” She was stopped when he lowered his head so their lips could connect. She gasped softly, but quickly obliged, wrapping her arms around his torso and leaning into his embrace. The kiss was everything she had been told one would feel like and more. She felt as if she had melted into his arms, and as if every single touch sent sparks shooting through her and igniting a flame in her heart.
          
               Their mouths moved in harmony and with passion, and his hands moved as if he had experience. They moved feverishly over her arms and the curves of her sides, and finally to the back of her head where he gripped her hair and pulled her deeper into the kiss.
          
               They only pulled away when they ran out of breath. They were still so close that she could feel and smell his mint-scented breath on her face. She found herself trapped in the dark hazel depths of his eyes, feeling warmed by his embrace. As he caressed her cheek, his fingers delicately moving over her skin, she felt herself blush and shyness crept over her.
          
               He ran his fingers over the curve of her neck and over her collarbone and shoulder, then back to the side of her head. He tucked a stray lock of her hair behind her bejeweled ear, looking into her eyes affectionately. Shivers crept over her, but they were full of love and pleasure.
