Hey love, thanks for following. Usually I would ask people to check out my work, but instead of doing that I'm going to ask for you to stop hurting yourself.
I know what it's like to be in your position, so I'm not going to say the same things that everybody says (because I know how annoying they are and how they just make you feel worse) but I will just give you 2 pieces of advice that I find work for me (and I know everybody is different, but there's a chance that maybe one of them might work for you as well).
1. You don't have to stop, but you have to replace. If ever you feel like cutting or anything similar, do something else instead. Watch a video, put on some music to dance, draw, do your makeup, sing, try a new hairdo. Just find something else to do (with your hands works best) that will distract you. Even if you just take a pen and draw sharp lines across a page instead of your body. Anything to replace. Stopping a bad habit is hard (I know that), so don't think of it as stop, think of it as replace, and you will find it easier to reduce how often it occurs.
2. There is always a next. YES, right now might suck. And YES, right now is hard; but think of all the good things that might happen NEXT. Dream big and focus on the future. Because something will always come next, and you'll always have something to look forward to.
You can chose to listen to me, or you can chose not to. It's completely up to you. But whatever you decide, make sure that it's the best option for YOU. Because if you don't help yourself no one will. Nobody can do anything to you but yourself. And while that can be a bad thing sometimes, it can be positive others.
Try not to worry about all the distractions life never fails to provide, and start worrying about YOU and how you can help yourself. And if you ever need a little backup, I'm right here to listen.
