I just found out that there's going to be another Darksiders game, about damn time. I hope they bring back the hack and slash gameplay from the first and second game. I wonder if they're going to continue the story after the first game and it would be cool to play as all the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, or make one about Strife after the events of the third game (I know Genesis exists and I played it but that's besides the point). Either way I'm excited for it where it would go next.

So I was able to watch Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes during the weekend. I gotta say this, I really love the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, probably one of my favorite trilogies, and I was worried about this film at first. I'm surprised that I actually like it, most of these kind of situations is that it would be shit and didn't live up to the previous films. And I'm glad that I'm wrong that it would live up to the reboot trilogy.

I think it's a smart decision to time skip many generations after War for the Planet of the Apes. And I like the aspects of religion and how the point of view these certain characters have, the good aspect like Raka and the bad like Proximus.

I like how the world changes as the apes getting smarter and they start to speak more compare to the trilogy and how humanity have become more feral and devolve.

I also like the new characters, especially Raka mostly because he reminds me of Maurice. Now that I think about it after seeing Caesar die, knowing Maurice said he wouldn't make apes forget about his legacy but sadly almost all of them did and/or misinterpreted what Caesar was. I like Noa as the new main character and I hope he becomes better in the next film, he's not strong as Caesar but he is smart.

I enjoyed Proximus and the actor really did a good job with the character. I understand his point of view about humans but his biggest flaw is that he's being the very thing he hated, like slavery, subjecting into their religion forcefully. And I like that for a villain like him, being manipulative and self righteous and spit half truths and factual concepts like evolution to wage chats in his favor while nonchalantly brushing over evil deeds to make them seem for the greater good. Ape or human, it makes no difference, where there's intelligence, there is always an ambition for supremacy.

I'm happy that it's able to live up to the reboot trilogy and I hope it gets better in the next film.

I saw the Xbox showcase yesterday and I'm very excited for Doom The Dark Ages. That skull grinding gun and the Captain America chainsaw shield is metal as fuck. This game is more dark fantasy than the new Dragon's Age game they announced. Each game has gotten better, I wish they give it the same love for Quake and if that happens, I wish they bring back the Lovecraftian setting.

It took Konami long to actually make a Snake Eater remake game instead of making another pachinko machine. At least there's more hope for this remake compared to the Silent Hill 2 Remake since I'm calling it now that it will not live up to the original.

And we finally got a Gears of War prequel, about damn time. I didn't like the new Gears games and I'm glad that they're going back to the original games. I'll never understand Gears 4 and 5 existence, because the story is over after Gears of War 3.

I'm surprised that they're bringing back Perfect Dark. I'm not a fan of the new design of Joanna, seriously, fist Fable, and now this. I'll never understand why some game companies make female characters look ugly.

I'm surprised this turned out decent, I mostly expected to be disappointed during these game events.

So yesterday I finally watched Godzilla x Kong The New Empire. I was going to watch it last week but it was full. Now that I've seen it now, I love this movie. This is basically a modern Showa Era movie, the human character are fine. Speaking of Showa Era there's some scenes that are funny as hell. I liked how they did with the monster scenes when they interact with each other, especially with Kong. I hope they try to do more monster scenes like this in the future movies and I hope they do the same thing with Godzilla in the next movie.

I really liked Skar King and Shimo, especially when they introduce the two, the problem is it would be better if they have more screen time. I like that Skar King is an asshole and he loves it and feel bad for Shimo since its been brainwashed for years. And Suko isn't so bad and I grew to like him. And I liked the Evolved Godzilla, his design reminds me of the Millennium Godzilla and how he one shot some titans. I find it funny that Godzilla sleeps in a Rome Colosseum.

I appreciate that they brought in some of the other titans from the previous films and one from Godzilla Dominion comic, so I was very surprised that Tiamat made an appearance, despite the fact both Tiamat and Scylla got filtered in thirty seconds. I would like for them to show more titans from the comics, or some TOHO monsters if they have the chance.

I like that they brought back Mothra since 2019, I hope they do more with her in the next film. And I'm surprised she made it out alive in the end since she always dies at the final battle. And also expand more into the Hollow Earth and brought back the tribe from Kong Skull Island and Kingdom Kong comic and brought in a bit of lore in the Monsterverse.

I really like the fight scenes, most entertaining thing in the whole movie. The final battle in the city remind me of the Pipeworks Trilogy. I really enjoyed this movie and I wonder what they're going to do next.

I'm planning on watching Godzilla x Kong the New Empire on Saturday, but first I need to say something since something is bothering me for a month.

Godzilla is a versatile character. He can be a villain, hero, anti-hero, force of nature, lovecraftian, balance of nature, a metaphor and allegory for nuclear weapons, etc.

Anyone that tries to compare this movie to Minus One are the people who only saw Minus One and not 70 years worth of these movies. I call these types of people tourists and bandwagons. They know nothing of this franchise and I hate that these people act like they know the kaiju genre just because they only watched one movie.

I've been a fan since kindergarden, I grew up with the Showa, Heisei, Millennium, Pipeworks Trilogy, and IDW comics. I know a lot of this and this led me to be a fan of anything kaiju/monster related.

These tourists and bandwagons didn't realize that if it weren't for the Monsterverse, we wouldn't have Shin Godzilla, Minus One, and the rest of the Reiwa Era. I will forever be grateful for the Monsterverse, it's not perfect, but it made both Godzilla and King Kong popular again and made me love the franchise and the kaiju/monster genre.

Both Minus One and The New Empire represent the Showa Era. Minus One represents 1954 and The New Empire represents the later Showa Era films.

This is why I fully gatekeeping and why it still exists, to keep these assholes away from the stuff we love.

I saw the trailer for Godzilla x Kong The New Empire, and I can't wait for the movie. Not only have they've reached Showa Era silliness, they've also reached the levels of the Godzilla Pipeworks Trilogy now.

Damn, I love the kaiju/monster genre. I don't give a shit what the fucking normies say about it, I'm loving it.

I swa the State of Play yesterday. And the only game that interests me is Stellar Blade, the premise reminds me of nier automata, and the gameplay kinda reminds me of a hack and slash game. I'm glad that the hack and slash games are still going on, mostly because it's my personal favorite genre.

And I also like the fanservice. We don't really get that much fanservice anymore and I'm glad that their keeping it alive. And the fact that this is the same game company that did Nikke Goddess of Victory. So I have high hopes for this game.

And one last thing about this State of Play, I forgot what the game is called but it has a dlc that is a Godzilla crossover. How come we're getting Godzilla crossover dlc than an actual Godzilla game?

I swear there's always bad news everyday. I just looked up spoilers for the Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League because I'm not gonna bother buying it. And holy shit, how could Rocksteady fuck this up so bad and making it live service is bad enough already.

Another thing that pisses me off is how they treated the Justice League, especially Arkham Batman. Their deaths is so anticlimactic and the heroes are so fucking nerfed that the Justice League gets killed by C or D tier villains.

I will never forgive them for disrespecting Arkham Batman, he's a fucking beast in the Arkham games and only for him to go out in a pitiful sendoff, that motherfucker would keep on fighting till his last breath. And add more insult to injury this is Kevin Conroy's last role as Batman.

I swear, people who are doing the writing these days don't see heroes as heroes. They see them as oppressors and tyrants. To be blunt, you have self important, narcissistic, nihilistic, sociopaths writing for games, movies and comics. To see they'd do that doesn't shock me. I hope the people who wrote this garbage are fired. Shit like this is why stuff like manga, anime, and games made from japan are getting more popular than they were back then.

By the way, did you know that they were originally going to make a Batman Beyond game and a Superman game. Those two games got cancelled for a shitty live service game. I guess there is a reason why a bunch of veterans from Rocksteady have left the company. I hope Rocksteady goes bankrupt and run out of business. And this is the reason why I pray for Warner Bros downfall when they make anything DC related.

I guess the closure I got is that, since I'm struggling with writing fanfics right now mostly because I'm busy with life right now. But I look at something like Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, Last of Us 2, Disney Star Wars, etc. And maybe my writing isn't as bad as these hacks.

I just woke up and found out about Yozora Mel has been terminated. Hard to believe that one of the first vtubers in Hololive had to go like that.

I want to be pissed off, but I'm so used to bad news everyday that I'm numb to it. Life fucking sucks and I'm slowly starting to grow bitter about it.
