Hey...so this probably won't be a message you were wanting, but it is one I need to say, one I've needed to say for years now. One of my stories is still being discovered and it brings me joy that my writing, no matter how old (or horribly written might I add) is enjoyed by people. Despite my yearns to continue, I'm not in the right mental state to do so. I haven't been for years. And I just couldn't admit it, I guess, or I didn't want to. And my writing suffered because of me. My love for it remains unchanged, but it's not enough in this moment. One day, I want to be able to pick up the stories that once brought me joy, like Catty Much and Peter Pan, but right now I need to deal with something I've been suppressing for too long.
I wanted to thank everyone who has ever read my stories and cheered me on. It made me realize my love for writing. I sincerely hope that one day we can continue that and I can give you more. This isn't a goodbye to writing or from me, it's more of a "until next time" when things are better.
