Ever since I was very young I have loved to read and often spend an entire day lost in a book reading. It wasn't until my freshmen year of high school that I first started getting into writing and not until my senior year that I began writing regularly. For this I have my fantastic creative writing teacher Mrs. Swank to thank. Without the help and support of her and my dear friends I never would have discovered how much I truly love to write. The only reason the novel I am writing exists is because of her and her class, and for that I thank her immensely.

Some of my favorite books/series include the Percy Jackson books, the Septimus Heap books, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and many others that currently slip my mind because I don't own them. I also love reading and studying mythology of any culture, with Norse being my favorite.

My favorite TV series include: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones.

I'm also an avid video game player and some of my favorite games are: The Witcher 2, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Halo 3 (The best one in the series). 

I enjoy a variety of music genres excluding Rap and most country. I pretty much automatically love anything with a good violin. I don't know if i could ever pick a favorite band, but rock is without a doubt my favorite genre.
