          Forgive me for the excitement, but I was supposed to see them live for the first time right before COVID hit, and this is the closest I’ve gotten to that since. Also, in person training always makes me happyyyyyyyy

Guess who just got a year older!
          (Somehow I convinced my sister that my birthday was yesterday and it was so funny to see her face when she realized it was today)

The howling crying
          The ringing screech 
          Here comes the glowing lights
          Of gold and red
          As they drive up the hill
          To fight this fire
          
          Its flames are licking
          The burning trees
          The bushes and sticks
          Turned to crisps in the breeze
          
          Their flashlights begin to glow
          Casting a daylight look
          On this nighttime terror
          The hanging smoke from the flames
          Turned white in the light
          
          As the water comes raining down from above
          The flames filled with life begin to diminish 
          Their hunger sated
          And the burning embers left to die

Why does Visitor give me Phantom vibes?

Power’s been out for a day now and I have online school tomorrow. (Luckily the school’s letting my sister and I work in a classroom there)Don’t know what my parents are going to do. And it’s been so freaking hot this weekend. And I’m supposed to start cross country training next week and I haven’t been able to run because we’ve been going from place for cool air.

          I may end up just binging all the released episodes tonight. I am especially excited to see how the musical episode went.

Sometimes I just mope around after online school. 
          
          Other times, I come dancing out of my bedroom because I just finished my short Bio essay I really didn’t want to write.
          
          My expectations have been 100% lowered by quarantine.

School starts tomorrow and I’m so excited! Though being on meets constantly is going to make me brain dead for the first few weeks. :(
