@12361791at Well to answer the first part of your question and that is I'm just a sucker for a good story and after reading different types of stories and taking multiple creative writing classes throughout my life I just naturally felt like writing one of my own. Now Am I great at writing my stories, hell no, I'm average at best because there are others who have made stories better than mine. but to answer the second part of your question, yeah it is sometimes hard to think of what to do after the first chapter because most people to tend to just think about the beginning and the end, never the middle part hence why you see so many authors stop updating chapters after like the fifth and tenth chapter. But as for my advice just keep thinking about it and eventually it will come to you, sometimes it will just come out randomly and that might pave the way to lead you to end of the story. Now if you are trying to write a story that is based off of a established universe then please read and understand the source material first before diving into it because so many people make the mistake of not reading up on the source material and they end up not making any sense or give up half way through. Also try not to overly complicate things or else you will lose the attention of both yourself and the readers, so keep a way so that everyone can follow. But hey to me most forms of fanfics can be entertaining, the problem that I usually have with some of those stories is the execution of said story, because the concept of the story can be great but how people tend to execute just make no sense since half the time it just feels that they just plopped them in there with no rhythm or reason. But hey I can't entirely judge since sometimes I feel like I do that to but I try my best to expand upon it the best I can do. Well if any of this advice help but whatever story you try to create I hope its something you could be proud of.
