if i remember correctly, the watermelon emoji is the symbol people use in their social media bios to show their support for palestine/gaza! so you might see in someone’s bio, “free palestine *insert watermelon emoji here*”. someone might also put it in their bio or whatever because it matches the theme of their profile!
