We both lay on the couch of our living room and watch TV. You glance over at me and poke my cheek for the hundredth time. “What do you want?” I ask, annoyance dripping from each and every word.
Your eyes narrowed into slits. “What do I want?” You chuckle, “You haven’t posted anything for like a month.”
I looked away, “I have been busy.”
“Sure you have,” You say sarcastically, “Doing what?”
“It may be hard to believe, but, I have been quite busy and preoccupied. Life isn’t treating me too well."
You nod, “Well, that is hard to believe due to quarantine. But, I trust you.” You flick my forehead. “Well, when are you going to post next?”
I rub my forehead in pain. “First of all ouch and second of all,” I laugh nervously and slowly move away from you. “W-Well you see I was hoping to post. But-.”
You glare at me with murderous intent and step toward me, “But?”
I gulp and make a run for it. You yell and chase after me outside.
“W-Wait! Hold up.” I say as I place my hands up in surrender. “We should not be outside! What if corona is air-borne.” You nod in agreement and place your hand up in the air as well. You then give me a 10 second head start as we continue our chase in our house.
We both paused around the dining table to catch our breaths, “ I was planning,” I huff, “to change the pov of my story to 3rd person.” I pant and end my sentence.
You look at me deep in thought. “Why do you want to change it?”
“Well,” I take a seat, “I just don’t like the layout. I feel like I am too repetetive.”
You take the seat in front of me.
“Plus…” I blush, “I suck at romance.”
You look at my flushed face and laugh out loud, “Well throw me your best shot.”
I smile and walk over to you for a hug. Sniffing the air around you I cringe, “Maybe you should take a shower it smells like corona.”
You laugh, “Well that makes the both of us.”
-- So what do you think? Should I change the POV? Oh and stay safe everyone! Lol, I probably won't get any comments but oh well.
