Getting the news of Mark’s departure this morning honestly broke my heart. Even though I haven’t been as active with NCT lately, this still hit me so deeply. It’s hard to process the idea that we might never see all the boys on stage together again—the energy, the laughter, the little moments that made everything feel so real. I’ll miss hearing Mark’s constant chatter, his laugh alongside Johnny, and the way his smile always felt so full of love when he was with the members. It’s those small, genuine moments that meant the most.
At the same time, I’m truly glad this was Mark’s own decision. After everything he’s given and all the years of hard work, he deserves peace, rest, and the chance to choose what’s best for himself. That matters more than anything.
I’ll continue to support him wherever life takes him, just as I’ll continue to support NCT and all the members moving forward. I hope they’re all taking care of themselves during this time, and I hope Nctizens can slowly heal too.
Some things will never feel the same, but the love and memories will always stay.
