Hey everyone! You may have missed it, because it was posted to our secondary account, but the Dreamies have returned! Think the Wattys, but for Dreamland ;)

This is a contest EXCLUSIVELY for DLers, so if you're in this discord, you can enter! Unless, ya know, you break Wattpad ToS, but that's a whole different issue to tackle

The contest pits books against each other by categories rather than genres, though most categories are just a combination of genres. It still opens the way for a lot of fun, good natured competition :D

Fanfics, mature, lgbt—whatever it may be, it's accepted and will be mixed in with the others of the category as well.

We have seen some amazing entries in the past, and we hope for this year to blow all previous years out of the water <3

JirehCrowell

Hey how do I join the club.

DreamlandCommunity

@JirehCrowell If you're looking to join a club, Dreamland has six bookclubs and each one has a book dedicated to it on this profile! If you go into the book for the club you want to join, there's a chapter labelled "form" and that is where you go to join the club. Hope this makes sense!

@elthiansangel If you're looking to join a club, there isn't a specific link to sign up. Dreamland has six bookclubs and each one has a book dedicated to it on this profile! If you go into the book for the club you want to join, there's a chapter labelled "form" and that is where you go to join the club. Hope this makes sense!

@elthiansangel If you wish to join a book club, you need to read the preliminary chapters before the Form chapter, and then fill out the Form!

Hello, there! How are you doing?
I am looking for some help with a book of mine that I completed writing offline, and that help specifically involves editing. I know everyone is telling me to self-edit, but the thing is, I’m not very proficient at self-editing, and I view my creative work to be edited as like homework to be graded by a teacher. So, in other words, self-editing is not my strong suit, and I could really use an editor right about now. But here’s the rub: those kinds of professional editors cost a lot of money, and I can’t afford their ridiculous prices that they have for editing. If there is anyone you can provide for editing tips (I would love to edit, but it’s just seeing where the problems in my novel are that’s the problem), I would greatly appreciate it. I work best by example, so if someone can point those errors out to me and how to edit them, that would be great. I’m not trying to publish my work on Wattpad, but I want to clean my novel up enough for debut publishing outside of Wattpad.
My novel is a YA sci-fi/dystopian novel, and it has a trigger warning in the beginning of the book, in case you ever feel triggered by words like “masking,” “fixation,” or even “obsession.” (I hope you guys never get triggered by those words like one of my last beta readers did.)
If you have anyone in mind to help me edit, I would greatly appreciate it.
