@MrNiceGuy11 Well said! This poem is actually from the stage before that, when you truly open yourself as a person to someone and take the leap of faith that you will be vulnerable for who you are... scars and flaws and all.

In regards to your poem "pick at the fabric". It's not being seen that is special. It's when they stitch themselves into the gaps. Creating not new masks or excuses, but a new person entirely. A person who is strong enough to walk threadbare with their guts for all to see.
