Remember how I said I think my dog scared off a robber? Yeah. She did. Found out today that they've been robbing houses near mine for a few days

@NotSylheti ik, right? She's the best. She's so smart, too! We think she's a border collie/ labrador retriever mix. She's certainly smart enough for it!

Damn. I think my dog scared off a robber or something. She suddenly stood up and started barking at the door in the middle of the night. We have my bike tied to the fence, so maybe they were gonna steal that? She often barks when someone in my house gets out of the room at night or enters my mom's, but this time no one did. When we opened my mom's door, she immediately ran to the front door barking...

So today was an interesting day.

My grandpa died. For depression. It's scary because I'm being treated for depression currently.

          My sis has covid, apparently.

My dad goes away tomorrow morning to be with my grandma and I won't see him for two weeks.

On the other hand, my mom came back from a short trip to help us through it all.

And she thanked me for helping the family and everything, and for the first time in years it felt genuine. It's always been genuine, but I didn't feel like I deserved it, my depression made it feel like they were saying it sarcastically or condescendingly, or just because they had to, but because I'm being treated for it, it finally felt good.

Just needed to take it off my chest

@Dreamy_SirGwaine oh that sounds terrible. I hope you'll feel better in the future and life will treat you better

Ok, so my sister came out to us as Trans a few days ago, and of course we've been nothing but supportive of her, but sadly we know that won't be the case with our extended family. So I wanted to make sure she feels loved and supported (specially because we have to misgender her in public to not out her) so I wrote in a piece of tape "best sister" and gave it to her, along with other pieces expressing my love for her.

Three days later, she's got the "best sister" piece taped in her wall.

Any transphobic comments will be deleted and the person will be blocked.

@Dreamy_SirGwaine that's annoying but I hope it'll work out.

@iamthedoctorinutah she's had to listen to my grandma talk about the gays and why it's so wrong, and all that, and she's a trans lesbian. Now, my grandma adores her. We all do, and the unsupportive part of the family, we hope will change their minds when/if she comes out to them. Still, she's gonna have to live her life pretending to be a man for a while, and it's gonna be hard for her. Only my mom, dad, five friends of hers, and I, know about it

Update: I had 39.6 ° c. If you don't know, that's dangerously high. You have fever from 36.7 if I'm not wrong, and if you have 40 you should go to the hospital, I think. You can Convulse with as high temperature as I had, according to my grandma.

Now I have 38.0°c still fever, but better.

My whole body hurts and I'm so thirsty all the time. Over all I'm fine, though. I have a high pain tolerance, luckily, so I'm feeling meh. My mom, though, is feeling awful.

          That's all for now.

@ Dreamy_SirGwaine actually, it's kinda high for fever having 39.6°C, but nothing that a pill that cools down headaches and fever, some rest and a towell wet with cold water wouldn't work.

Even if you still have 38,0°C, still fever, not high, but still fever, drink a lot of water, because your body is trying to regulate the temperature with the water you have inside, +, + heat, + sweat=water+salts, so less water in your body, that's why you're Thirsty (or something like that). Still, again, drink a lot of water, rest, put a towell with wet cold water in your forehead to drop a littel the temperature and to soften a littel headaches if you have, and take the fever Pills regulary and in the right time. At least in Portugal, we can only take another med for fever/headaches in 6-6 hours
