Like so many people here, I've been writing for years. I've always found it to be the perfect escape from the real world--there's nothing more freeing than creating worlds, characters and stories that take you far away from everyday life. Once I have an idea, it tends to germinate in the back of my mind until I can't help but flesh it out and put it to paper.

As a kid I read a ton of mystery and detective fiction and I think that played a big role in the type of writer I am now. I like to write gripping, action-packed stories that are quick in pace and soaked in adrenaline and intrigue. For me, the best compliment a reader can pay is when they say they couldn't stop reading until they were done (or it was 3 in the morning and they really had to sleep).

During the day I work in Communications for an investment bank, where my writing is not nearly as exciting or fun as the stuff I do here.
