Now I know it may seem like I am not writing but Trust me, I am. I am going through some workshopping on my writing and plot details for the first arc of the novel (alongside other, more serious novels I am planning) since compared to the latter arcs which are filled with character stories, plot twists and other stuff I won't spoil, the first three arcs are pretty bland in comparison.
At first when I started, I thought that it was normal since I was setting everything up, like foundation for a house. However, as I read through more great works that are similar to mine and fixing my overall worldbuilding and writing skills, I realized that the first arc could also have crazy, wild things in as well (people who are versed with xianxia works would understand my point a bit better).
I tried to keep in with the contemporary style of xianxia too much to the point that I squashed some of my creative imagination and held back until way into the story. Now that I have decided to change it and go all out on the first arc, like the rest, I had to restructure alot of stuff, like character interactions and worldbuilding stuff.
I am announcing this now since I am almost finished with the direction I am heading towards and I think I can resume my chapters without having to go back and change any major point (save for grammar and proofreading stuff ). I would rather delay and then give interesting (or at least decent) chapters, rather than pump useless chapters then change everyhing later.
I will try to start back slowly coming next week Monday (well I might just finish the Garden part tomorrow and friday to bring an end to that event).
