Hi Duncan.  Welcome to Wattpad.  I see that you're a lawyer.  I'm writing a story with an assistant district attorney as one of the leads.  I may have to pick your brain for the proper lawyer lingo.  As it stands, I've been inundating myself in law shows hoping to pick up some dialogue (because everything on tv is true and accurate).  :D

            A quick caveat for you is that my practice has been in Common Law countries (Canada, Australia and NZ) which is more like the British system than that of the American courts.  Happy to help, but you might also want to spend an afternoon or two sitting in the local district court to get a feel for it all.
