Hello. I know It's been over two years since I've made an announcement, and a little over two months since I released my Pyhrra one-shot. I want to give a little context for that, before I explain why I will be taking a hiatus of unknown length. Back in the summer of 2021, I wanted to write again, after coming to the conclusion that I am more suited to one-shots rather than full length stories.
So I started writing what was going to be a compilation of stories revolving around different RWBY girls and the dance from the early volumes. But eventually, I just decided to make it just about Pyrrha and make other one-shots for other RWBY girls.
And I wrote on and off for months until it was finally finished and published in July, and I was proud of it. I thought it was better than what I have previously put out.but I finished under awful circumstances.
I finished that story because earlier in the month my mother was admitted to the hospital, and I had wanted a distraction, so I wrote. Which brings me to the hiatus I will be on.
On March 26th, two weeks from tomorrow, my mother passed away during at home hospice. So for the foreseeable future I will not be writing, and I don't know when I will come back. I want to thank everyone that had stayed around, even if you forgot you followed me, and I want to thank however many of you read my latest story.
