I am excited to be here on Wattpad, but why is there not a section here for dystopian, protest or political novels? I do not believe that our current sections are broad enough categories for our changing world. And why aren’t there more memoirs? Where do these stories go? I feel like this site caters to the fluff, and romance. Online activism is a crucial part of bringing a new audience to write who are excited for debate, and excited to help their community. Wattpad is an excellent platform for debate, and can create positive change moving forward - if they choose to.

          	  Welcome back to Wattpad, I agree sometimes we get so into Wattpad that we forget real life exists but, it hits us like hammer. 
          	  
          	  Wattpad is one of those places where you can always find someone whose thoughts are similar to yours. I truly beleive that this community can wonders, if, of course the ideas are putforth nicely. Yes, we can now get over romanticizing toxic relationship.
          	  
          	  You should definitely write more, I just read one of your short story and it's superb!

I stopped writing publicly since 2012! Now that I have a home, I am adamant about changing that.

I entirely agree. This is a strong platform for debate, and I had an account in 2012 when I was about nine years old. I would write, and write, and write to escape home. But I found that the choices and obstacles in my life that were causing me trouble were never fully addressed. It kept me from writing, and along the way I found a new perspective on how to write. I am grateful for all the opportunities I had to escape onto Wattpad as a kid. I think Wattpad could be an excellent resource for people to share their stories like you were saying on your page. So children like me would be a little more prepped for the world, and to find  out more about our vast community. Thank you for responding! Small change can grow into a garden if we let it. <3
