Hello everyone,

Dystopian Reads is a project to unite all the Dystopian stories on Wattpad under one banner. Being an incredibly broad genre, dystopic novels offer an immense amount of possibility,  for both the author and the story.

In the nineteen thirties and forties, pioneers like George Orwell and Aldous Huxley have shaped the futuristic and dark genre like no one else; their novels "1984" and "Brave New World" were only recently dethroned as the best-selling dystopian novels by Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games".

Since then a new craze has shaped dystopia in pop culture; gifting the readers reads like "Divergent", "The Maze Runner" and countless other YA books.

By adding the button to your story and tagging it with #DystopianReads, your dystopic story will be added to our reading list and it will be compatible for future contests; regardless of it being a fan fiction to a dystopian novel or a independent story.

This project will be available in English, German, Italian and French.
