          ok so its um its gotten to the point where im actually contemplating running away. i got back from a friends house, and my parents both stepped it up to actual verbal abuse. "little bitch" they know im insecure about my height, so now they add that in. they took away most of my (few) electronics that i have, and told me its my fault because i didnt wake my sister up on time this morning. i was five minutes late. and then- ok so music is my coping method, and now i dont even have that anymore. no more laptop after school, no more alexa. ever. so here i am, trying to figure out if cutting myself will fix things. idk i mean i sure as hell wouldnt normally, but hey! normal parents wouldnt abuse their kids.

          alright so physical abuse is different from discipline because physical abuse leaves marks and visible scars, and obvious mental affects, etc. i have a scar on my upper arm from when my mom grabbed my and dug her nails into my arm so hard it bled. another time, i was pulled by my hair to face her. my dad has held me up to the wall by my neck, shoved me into a wall where i got a bruise so bad it swelled, i've been kicked, and scratched. i've thought about running away, and one time my mom figured it out and said "i'd love to see you try. you'll get killed immediately, and where would you sleep, get food, and money? how would you keep yourself clean?" then, as an afterthought, she added "im not saying i want you to get hurt". whenever my parents (mostly my mom) say anything mean to me, such as "i hate you" or "im embarrassed to be your parent", they end up coming back and trying to get rid of their guilt by bribing me with treats etc. i've been called a bitch, a slut, a mistake, the devil, a fucking idiot. they yell at me, saying "we bought you your own bed and you have your own room stop being such an ungrateful bitch.". they use that same line, all the time. they guilt trip me into thinking im a terrible person, and it works. its all a toss up. some days they'll be kind, and others they'll act like they hate me. some days they'll switch moods halfway through a conversation. its gotten to the point where i started cutting myself again, which is something i haven't done in almost a full year. the only thing keeping me going is the fact that in like three years, i'll be eighteen and i wont be a minor anymore. otherwise, i've kind of given up.
