Writing is slowing down a bit, but I blame that more on that I’m past what I had already written previously- and so it’s more so just trying to find how Nathan fits in and what bits of his backstory I can fit in; which I have been taking time to try and flesh out more.  Although, by the end of this book, I don’t think a lot of his backstory will be available- might have to make a one-shot book with some of his previous adventures.  I love to see that people are enjoying the story- as am I.  I really like how it’s coming out.

So, we are two days away from the second chapter of Tortured Past.  It seems like C1 was pretty well received, and I hope that C2 will be just as good.  
          
          Christmas Update: got like 75$ on Xbox Giftcards and spent 50$ of it on Dead By Daylight.  Used the rest to get Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections- really good so far.  If any of you liked the original 4 Ninja Storm games, this is good.  Has the biggest roster and covers the ENTIRE Naruto Story.
          
          Also, my coworker got me a giant Yoshi Egg mug for Secret Santa (:

          1. “Taipei Person / Allah Tea” by Stone Sour - Probably one of my top five Stone Sour Songs
          
          2. “Save Your Grievances” by Oricadia - Really good song by Oricadia, this man has a hella good singing voice.
          
          3. “(Sic)” by Slipknot - This song hits different when you’re driving by yourself and you make your throat hurt by trying to mimic Corey Taylor.

Three Days.  
          
          Three Days until my most important- and probably my favorite fanfiction to date is officially re-released.  I am really proud of what I've written so far, and I am so glad to be able to share my work with everyone.

          Since another update won't be put out until 2025, I shall give my last weekly update of 2024 now:
          
          Writing has slowed down as I get closer to the holidays, but the plan as of now is to spread out my writing across the week.  If I write 1 chapter a week, I should have a steady stream of chapters to release twice a month.  I would prefer to be able to release a chapter once a week, but due to not wanting to get burn out- this is my solution.
          
          Top 3 songs of this week: 
          
          1. "Get Inside" by Stone Sour
          
          I fucking love this song- for anyone that hasn't listened to Stone Sour, I HIGHLY recommend them.  They are mainly rock/metal, and they have the same lead singer that Slipknot does.
          
          2. "Fade to Black" by Metallica
          
          A really dark song that was written during a dark time for James Hetfield.  I feel like I really connect to this song, and is probably my second listened to song in the past month.
          
          3. "Fallen Angel" by Code Rogue
          
          I really wish the Nerdcore genre was listened to more.  A lot of these songs that get made are SO good, yet they'll never get the recognition they deserve due to being in the niche space of Nerdcore.  I've listened to the genre since like 2019/18, and I've seen it go from being silly songs based on anime to lyrical masterpieces.  If anyone wants to get into listening to the genre, I recommend Fabvl's newer music, Divide Music, Rustage's stuff from 2022-23, and Shwabadi's releases this year.  The music is really good but not listened to enough.

The first three chapters are fully written, and will be released before the end of January.  Had a bit of writer’s block concerning chapter Three, but overall I’m really proud of how it turned out.  First chapter will be released on 25/26th.  Chapter 2 will be released on the 1st of January, and Chapter 3 around the 29/30th of January.  I will continue to provide weekly updates on the writing process, along with adding a few things to this other than just updates on the fanfic.

So far really liking the rewrite of Tortured Past, I have 2/20 planned chapters written for season 1.
          
          Along with that, the timeline has gotten MUCH more fleshed out and is logical.  Before this rewrite, the OC (which will be renamed in the rewrite) had created Malivore, which is impossible- so I’m not sure what crack I was on when writing it originally.

          I will be working on the next chapter of Tortured Past, which I have decided will be updated 1-2 times a month.  If there is anything you would like to suggest for the book, feel free to share your ideas.
          
          Also, PLEASE give me feedback on the chapters that are currently written so I know how to improve the coming chapters.
          
          The next chapter will be released the first week of January, with one to follow the last week of January.
          
          Off Topic: Currently trying to grind for Dark Matter in Black Ops 6- fucking Christ do I hate it.  I currently have 1/33 weapons with the Gold Camo.
