@SJMoore4 Great, I look forward to him! That's kind of how DW in general goes - some things you can't wait for newcomers to see, and others you just want them to steer clear of. Thats what concerns me when recommending the show to someone for the first time, that they'll stumble upon a questionable episode (heaven forbid they watch 'Love and Monsters') and be turned off the show forever. Thank you for the offer; I'll certainly keep that in mind!

@EGBAR787 Cool, thanks for that! Merlin turns up for the first time in chapter 6. There's *loads* of stuff to love in classic Who, but also some areas to avoid when you're coming to it for the first time. Let me know if you ever want any recommendations!
@SJMoore4 Sylvester McCoy is such a great actor! It seems like most of the time the first Doctor you see is your favorite. I just read the first chapter and a half of Children of May, so I'm eager to meet this rendition of Merlin! I confess I've only seen clips of Classic Who, but I hope to see it all someday.
