“SPOILERS ALERT”
OMG! I am so over this series. I love Charlie’s character and I am really thrilled she is not with that jack@ass r@pest. He belong to the wacko Wynona. They do really belong to each other.
He keeps saying he never loved Charlie but after he got what he wanted he had no excuse to bring her back. She left and never wanted to see his face again. But after pestering her for so long she wanted him to pay.
And like any woman, r@ped, impregnated, and humiliated by a selfish animal like Aries, she wanted to make him pay for what he did specially after finding out she is with a child.
Wynona was just annoying, I like strong woman characters who can stand up for themselves. Specially when obstacles are thrown her way. Wynona was young and too emotional and clingy for my liking (great writing for these characters)
I hope the next book would not include switching of characters or if there is, at least give the other girl a decent closure.
nice story @elbeth76 … as always each character is deep and emotionally invested. Thank you!

@funkwerkstatt which is absolutely fine. There are trigger warnings and some people cant handle certain stories because its either doesn’t go morally with what they believe or it relates to situations they witnessed. I don’t think characters like Cedric, Chris, or Aries meant to be in love. I think they’re so selfie centered sociopaths, they only like to own and control to feel complete. Aries is using everyone specially Wynona, she is a convince and she satisfying his emotions, she also using him emotionally to feel a purpose. They really match each other. But i know what you feel about switching partners. I hope we take a little break for the next few books

@reenbow_D Thank you for the update. I’ve only read the first book. I can’t handle reading stories where the characters switch partners—it just doesn’t feel like true love to me.

I don’t like the partner swapping, but I figured this was going to be the last book for this story, so I read it instead of skipping it like the others. I still don’t like Aries. SPOILERRRRR!!! I wish Wynona would’ve had a child just to see his reaction. Him congratulating her for what happened should’ve been her last straw, but..

Alright... I’ve just reread Haley and Cedric’s latest book, and I feel like I truly want to express my opinion on this. My opinion is not about the author at all; she is amazing and highly skilled. My opinion is only about the book itself.

Honestly, I feel that Haley and Cedric’s story is not over yet, and it shouldn't end there. Throughout this whole book, Hailey was literally a side character in her own book..the one where she is supposed to be the main lead. Instead, the book actually focused on Loraine and Cedric. I mean, he literally held a gun to her because he couldn't accept that she wanted to leave him. Then, he took her on a month-long vacation just for the two of them with their phones completely turned off, without even giving Hailey a single thought! Also, at the end of the book, he gave her a ring. I mean, I know she is his wife, but hello?! Hailey exists too!

What was her actual role in this book? What did she even get after all the torment she went through, other than the fact that she will spend her whole life as just a mistress and will never be number one to Cedric? This man showed her absolutely no feelings. This book genuinely made me believe that he does not love her at all. The entire book focused on Loraine and Cedric and their relationship. Don't get me wrong, it was really hard to hate Loraine; on the contrary, I actually grew to like her. But what about Hailey? That poor girl, what did she actually get? This book did absolutely nothing for her; she is still stuck at the exact same point, never moving forward, and will always remain the other woman."

@Janarakha Beth finished that story. In some of her books the main female character is stuck with a true alphahole and Cedric, Ethan, Aries, Darius, Chris, and Joshua are douches. I just felt the female leads were given lemons for partners. But truly Ethan, Aries, and Cedric take the cake. Beth does this sometimes, shows sometimes in life there are no roses or rainbows but thorns and more thorns. She captures this beautifully.

@reenbow_D well that makes some sense... cause I actually felt like the author hated Haley in that book LOL

Wow so many opinions on wynona and aries , i feel like this is toni/chris again , the funny thing is I loved both of these couples, I guess maybe because I didn't read the first book of charli and aries, i skipped it, but I really enjoyed the story of wynona and aries, I love when I can feel the deep emotions that is coming from the characters, I spent two days reading the books, didn't put the book down and this is a first for me, that is why I am really hoping the next book is about them.

@keef2401 Count me in! I’m 100% with you both…I’d love that outcome too ☺️
