I do really like Radish but some of the authors that I wanted to follow there haven't set their works to freemium - guess I won't know the end of those stories.

@ERaeDell I appreciate that! I love it here, but it takes forever to move on to Paid, etc., and I'm too old to wait too long! So I've been pondering other platforms for new work and some of my older work, too. I just have this deep attachment to Wattpad that makes it hard for me to make that move. They've been so supportive that I always think they should have the first shot at everything I do...

@CynthiaDagnal-Myron From what I have heard from other Wattpad authors, it is important to read and understand the contracts. Some authors have really benefited from moving to a different platform for security reasons (stories being plagiarized) or for better reimbursement. It does restrict where else the stories can be shared and may have an effect on how a story can be published in the future. Now that Radish has a "lucky draw" for people to win coins daily, I think they are getting a lot more people accessing stories. I think they have mostly done away with "freemium" though - readers could wait a certain amount of time to unlock stories they were reading instead of paying - and almost all of it has to be read by redeeming coins or getting coupons in contests/draws. It is also important to consider the genre of story - Radish is way more focused on romance and a serialization format, so a story that doesn't fit that may not do well.

@ERaeDell Talk to me about Radish. I'm considering it for my next novel, but...I don't know...
