@snowstorm_train Félicette was also the 'chosen one' of fourteen cats One 'got lucky' and reacted badly to the electrodes they surgically attached so the scientists adopted her and named her Scoubidou AND YEAH THEY CHOSE LAIKA AS A STRAY BC 'SHE WAS USED TO COLD AND HUNGER' LIKE WTF DUDE? I saw a vid earlier on the Artemis II crew who landed safely saying Félicette helped them land on 'all fours' like cats do and I sobbed-

@EVeR0208 FELICETTE OMFG :((( She survived but then the French killed her so that they could look at her brain tissue AUGH also the fact that Soviet scientists were like "Well if a dog can survive Moscow then why can't it survive space?" but Laika was never meant to return :( Also rip the countless fruit flies and other creatures without names\ and the Apollo 1 crew who died due to there being 100% oxygen (I think it was Apollo 1)

gonna yap about my TADC oc real quick bc she had a lore update
She's biracial and had to behave one way for one family and another for the other family, causing her to develop two identities and DID
She'd run away from one of her homes (as her parents divorced) and wound up in the abandoned C&A building and she put on the headset
Caine bases the avatars on their mindscape and he noticed the two personalities, so he made her like Yin and Yang
Yin is the one that's most in control and when she's in control she looks like the Yin and Yang symbol
Sometimes Yang is in control and she literally splits and there's two Yins (actually a Yin (the white side) and a Yang (the black side))
Yin doesn't like this and always tries to fuse back into one, but Yang runs away, but eventually they fuse together by themselves
Yin is a more neutral or even good personality, while Yang is chaos incarnate
Jax prefers Yang and thinks Yin is annoying and tries finding ways to get Yang back in control
