Not sure, I usually prefer happy ending with original couple but there has to be a lot of groveling. And he’d has to be devastated or destroyed in some way also would prefer if the friend got what she deserved. In real life though I’d kick his sorry ass to the curb…lol! But this is fiction so I live a different life through it
