Hey, this morning I had an idea for a possible one-shot and I thought you might like the idea. It would be interesting to see how you would write it so I'm just going to tell my idea here and you can decide for yourself if you like it and want to use it. The idea is this:
Newt has his first book signing and is absolutely nervous. Obviously. He's our socially awkward hufflepuff :}. Either way, the usual people are there, Theseus and Leta. He's highly uncomfortable during the book signing because women keep on making moves on him either because he is rather well known by now or because they want a chance to get closer to Theseus because he's thew ar hero. What Newt doesn't know is that Queenie and Tina took a few days off to go to his book signing after Newt had wrote a letter saying how nervous he was. It was supposed to be a surprise for him. Through the window they see how uncomfortable Newt looks because of the outsider constant flirting and inappropriate questions from paparazzi and Tina asks Queenie to read his thoughts.
Queenie tells Tina about how Newt is feeling and why that is and Tina decides to go in to ask for a signed book. Newt doesn't look up until Tina has to say her name because otherwise signing the book would be a little complicated. The rest is really up to you and his thoughts in detail would be too. Not because I don't have an idea in mind but simply because i want to give you the freedom to get creative with the idea yourself.
Feel free to do with this idea whatever you want. You could alter it, use what I told you here with the free space it comes with or you could ignore it ^-^
