Hey Ebony! I love your fanfic. I’ve been reading it for a month now and it’s really fun. A good “make it or break it” point for me personally in fanfics to keep me invested is the characterization. Even when the premise is bland or sometimes terrible I find some enjoyment of the whole package if the characters are written as accurate as in the original source material. Needless to say, you soared miles over that aspect.
BOTW has a simple story to begin with, so when you put the champions alive and well with stronger personalities than little mute Link it all depends on their interactions to hold this going. Those were my thoughts before I started reading the first chapter, but you nailed it instantly after I saw how Daruk accidentally knocks Link and Revali to one another. And then when sassy Urbosa came in, it only got better. Yup, I knew I was in for a fun ride
Seriously, love this stuff. It’s amazing how many cues you took from the few cutscenes featuring these characters in the game and expanded on it so well keeping it consistent. And that was even before the Champions Ballad had come out! You really know how to writes fully fleshed out characters and know the right ways to make them bounce off one another. I commend you.
@JoseGabrielSiles So, I just noticed strange gaps in chapter 17 that have the word undefined in them. You wouldn't happen to know what causes that, would you?
Yo Ebony! I've been reading your Champions of A Fallen Age fan fic and it's absolutely BREATH TAKING! IVE NEVER LOVED A SERIES LIKE THIS IN A LONG TIME AND YOU ARE DOING WONDERFULLY! And I am so excited to see what's in store for the next Divine Beast.
@foxxothedoggOO I noticed that when I was checking over chapter 17, there are weird gaps with the word "undefined" in them. What's even odder, at least to me, is that they don't appear in the app. Do you have any idea why that would be?
