Tl;dr - I have mental breakdowns over fics without mental breakdowns
          
          Fanfic: *angst with pent up feelings, miscommunication, argument, insecurities, etc.* mc doesn't have a mental breakdown confessing everything that's been weighing them down to their love interest and there's a joke and it immediately becomes all fluffy
          
          Me: excuse me? ex-fucking-scuse me? Where is the crying. Why did mc not cry. I WILL RIOT. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CRYING AND YELLING AND MENTAL BREAKDOWNS AND THEN COMFORT. WHAT TYPE OF SHITTY WRITING IS THIS? THERE SHOULD BE A BIG ARGUMENT WHERE THEY CRY AND SHOUT "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHAT THE FUCK.
