When one wants to write how does one go about it? Do we sit down and write out a list, maybe do an outline, let words flow out of our fingers, or do we calculate every move? For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to tell stories. I never felt like I was really any good at it, like I didn't really have the grammatical knowledge to be able to write a full length story. My imagination has always been very vivid but I've always come across people who have been way more talented in the storytelling department then myself and I got discouraged. I've been told by a large number of people that I should give it a go, so where do you start? Is it writing styles, just ideas, or is it just natural unfettered talent that people are born with?
