I swear I'm working on chapters for my books it's just taking forever to get my brain to focus , they will be out eventually (hopefully very soon) but I just wanted to quickly say that I've had a couple people use my books to promote their own social media (like YouTube channels, discord servers, their books and more).
I just wanted to tell everyone please don't do this in my comments/posts unless I've given u permission!
However u are totally allowed to ask me about ur books or for any ideas/help for books, I've helped people before in my comment section and I'm totally fine with people mentioning their books for the purpose of getting help (or if u have permission to promote it (don't be afraid to ask, if it's a good book and ur respectful I'll most likely promote it myself), I'm always happy to help a fellow writer :))
This post is not intended to be rude in any way. I've just had so many people using my books to promote stuff. It's happened so many times and it really frustrates me. If u want to promote stuff use ur own books/posts/account/messages (or other writers posts/books ONLY WITH PERMISSION THO!!!) to promote it.
If u promote stuff in my comments/posts don't get annoyed if I delete ur comment (I have already deleted the comments on my books promoting stuff). I'm telling u now that if u promote stuff in my comments I WILL delete ur comment.
Sorry for the long rant, I just don't want this to keep happening, thank u to everyone that's been very respectful in my comments :))
