hey you mentioned knowing alot of Egyptian history i love Egyptian mythology. i was wondering if you knew anything about the library of Alexandra? Im trying to learn more about it but its so hard to find credible information.

@mae_truble The Library of Alexandria was one of the greatest intellectual achievements of the ancient world—founded in 3rd century BCE Egypt by the Ptolemies with one bold goal: to collect all the world’s knowledge in one place. It was home to scrolls on science, philosophy, medicine, astronomy—basically the mind of the ancient world. And then, through war, fire, and pure historical tragedy, it was destroyed. We didn’t just lose books—we lost centuries of human progress. Honestly, it’s one of the biggest ‘what ifs’ in history. hope it helps fellow nerd.
