Call me Rayn.
Or Ishmael, if that's what you'd like.
Rayn ain't the name, but the government is after me right now... I'd like to say I'm friendly, but I'd be a liar. And I say 'Honesty is the best policy', so watch out: I abide by it. Laughably awkward, given the situation to make you miserable. I'm told repeatedly that I might be a bit big headed by my parents; they might be right. I take baths in my confidence - if you're lucky, you might get a splash.
I reside in a place far from here: My mind.
I. LOVE. WRITING; you can see because it's in caps. The one thing that means almost as much to me is Music: Bob Dylan; Fleetwood Mac; Queen; Led Zeppelin. And if I'm in a good mood? Coldplay, with a splash of Janis.
"How many times can a man turn his head, pretending he just doesn't see?" Bob Dylan.
Music that teaches is the best; not music that's going to encourage raging hormones with dirty lyrics. Even if you're a bad singer I don't care; what you sing about is what's important.
I play a few things: saxaphone. Piano. Viola. I'm in the amazing process of learning guitar. The calluses on my fingers are my pride and joy.
I love my dog - like, seriously. Sometimes, I think of him dying & I cry. One time, my mom joked that he got hit by a car while I was in school.
I didn't recover from the joke for two days. It wasn't funny.
I try to be nice to everybody; it's good to have friends in the world. You need help with a book? I'm here. If you need help with life? That's a different story, but I'll try. I haven't been here long, but with life like this you learn a lot & you learn fast.

@ColmPatrick ha, 'lovely' is quite alright, seeing as I feel awesome enough that you read it. I was beginning to feel like I was talking to myself when I write! And I love memorization and things li...View all Conversations
