Edward L. Woodyard is an award-winning journalist, screenwriter, playwright and author. He also has an independent college consultancy business. He and his wife have two grown children.

He writes, "For the past few years, I have been going through a filing cabinet of original screenplays that I wrote on spec and decided to novelize a few of them. I have had enormous fun taking storylines from the scripts and adding backstories and internal thoughts to the characters.

"I found the exercise to be a May-November marriage of sorts, uniting youthful exuberance with middle-aged reflection. Three shorter stories are complete. Two novels are in serialized form, allowing readers to peruse published chapters on their own schedules or, perhaps, to anticipate next installments.

"Enjoy."
