Hi fellow scribeazoids, bibliophiliacs and assorted word abusers! Like many of us out there I'm a self-published writer hoping to find a readership.
A couple of years ago I managed to waste most of a generous redundancy settlement on bringing out a softback edition of a contemporary trilogy of novels set largely in London.
Novels concerned with themes that have always been important to me like the fearful material and spiritual magnetism of London, the harsh price it can exact from you simply for surviving in it and the private hell that success can become.
Contemporary-set and drawing on many of my own experiences in the city, the novels and characters embroiled in them took such hold of me I've found myself drawn back repeatedly to them.
Since finishing and self-publishing I've continued to write additional chapters for each novel. All of them lying just outside the main narrative of the original books but fitting somewhere into their chronology.
I've found this a fun way to explore and expand the characters and if you read any of the chapters I hope you enjoy the experiments with humour and unusual subjects and situations.
...and if you hate 'em with plutonium poisonousness I wanna hear about that too!
