            Maybe you can give him ash ketchum type of outfit with armor plating inside and on the outside he has like ash ketchum jacket or a coat like kim dokja from the omniscient readers viewpoint.
            
            But if you want something unique and new i would say you can give him a long tactical coat same as kim doja and on the inside he can have armor resembling that of john snow from the battle of bast@rds
