So I just found out that The Potter Twins is being reposted on a Vietnamese website called Doc Truyen. I am not Vietnamese, I do not speak, read, or write in Vietnamese, and I have not given anyone permission to repost The Potter Twins or any of my other stories. The only other websites I post my stories on are Quotev, Fanfiction.Net, and Archive of Our Own.
If anyone else finds their stories on Doc Truyen and they didn't give permission to someone to post them there, please let me know. This has happened to my friend as well, and I don't want to see anyone else get ripped off by this website. I know that there are some people on Wattpad who have copyrighted their work, and if it is found that these copyrighted stories are being reposted without permission, we could potentially have the grounds to take down this website.
If you discover that your work has been stolen and reposted on Doc Truyen, then I'm sorry that you were put into this situation. It's not fair, and it needs to be rectified as soon as possible. If you need to come and talk to me, whether it's for support or to vent or whatever, my inbox is wide open. I will be there for you.
I'm not sure what's going to happen next, but I'm not going to get discouraged because my work has been stolen. It's been a busy summer and I know a lot of people have been waiting patiently for new chapters of The Potter Twins and Silence in the Desert, and I will get those out eventually. I am also going to be posting a short drabble about Jacksepticeye (who I've recently started watching on Youtube) within the next day or two, just as soon as I can figure out a title for it.
Again, I don't support people stealing fanworks and reposting them, whether it's fanart, fanfiction, edits, etc. If anyone finds out that my work or someone else's work has been stolen and reposted, please let us know. I know I really appreciate it, and I'm sure that others would as well.
