There is an alternate world that we can create and only live in if we release our limitations. EgyptsLostGold (ELG) strives to create these worlds through her writing and invite those who seek a world without limits. Beginning to write at age seven, ELG realized how her mind created stories through her many daydreams. Her elaborate games with her dolls and her short stories in her creative writing notebook were all insight into the author she would become one day. Inspired by her ability to create characters and storylines that intersected in ways no one else thought she took to scriptwriting, poetry, spoken word, and shorts that she would write for her friends. She fell in love with the way a plot could unfold in her mind within minutes without having to jot anything down. Most people could play sports, dance, sing, draw, and she realized she was just as talented with her boundless mind.
While many short stories are floating around Beyoncé's internet, ELG's first published poetry books are "Black Nail Polish and Vanilla Yogurt" and "Private Cognitions," both of which she released during her undergraduate career. Upon moving forward to pursue a second degree, she sought therapy in her talent. While doing so, she completed, released as a series, and then remastered as a novel, her first published fiction novel, "Twenty: The Sexual Liberation of Rahkell Parker."
In short, ELG provides an escape. A place where the thoughts often not allowed are spoken eloquently. She takes the experiences of various scenarios and intertwines them into a setting that creates familiarity, reflexive thinking, and a space to exhale. A connoisseur of pleasure, pain, and happiness as they meet in the multitude of encounters; ELG spins a web of characters that you will naturally be drawn to. She is everything erotic, passionate, curt, and bold in a way that feels like home.
