            I’ve had an island mode chapter that I started like 2 years ago haha I definitely want to finish it one day but my motivation fluctuates pretty bad and school is only getting worse (that’s why I haven’t made very good progress on the ch 3 rewrite atp) :’) I’ll definitely try tho!
            
            As a multishipper, I definitely like pairing Katsumi with either Hajime or Mikan (ig the ship names would be Hirahina and Tsumihira lol maybe Tsumihira wins out by a little?), so either one of them would be my second favourite pairings! :D 

@RemenantDespiar I unfortunately can’t guarantee a time for when they will come out, but it’ll probably take a hot minute. Like I’ve said before, the first two sdr2 chapters have individually taken 6 months which isn’t a good look for the rest of the chapters, but I’ll see what I can do to cut down on the time (no promises lol). This first long week of school is already whooping my ass lmfao and I literally can’t find much time to dedicate myself to sitting down and writing a lot atm. I’ll still try my best to get ch 3 as soon as I reasonably can, fingers crossed!
            
            No, after the events of udg and pre sdr2, Katsumi doesn’t accomplish much tbh. She and the other Remnants are rounded up and taken in by the Future Foundation at the same time as part of Izuru’s plan to put them and the Junko AI in the Neo World Program.

@RemenantDespiar I didn't rlly intend for Katsumi to be similar to any character in particular lol. But I think she's definitely the most similar to Maki. I feel like along with Kyoko and Peko, they're all kuuderes, but Katsumi and Maki have a fair amount of tsundere edge to them if that makes sense. They both carry blades which was a funny coincidence. Katsumi threatening Nagito with a scalpel also unintentionally mirrored Maki choking out Kokichi. Both got their death glares as well (I made Katsumi before getting into V3, I swear these are all coincidental ToT). The more I list the similarities, the scarier the coincidences get lol o(TヘTo)
            
            When I said "discreet", it just meant that Katsumi doesn't look or act that different after getting out of the simulation unlike Hajime (since he ended up getting the heterochromia and Izuru's talent + some of his personality). Because RoD!Katsumi's personality is actually very similar to Katsumi and they've been coexisting and living the same memories anyway, their fusing comes off as much more seamless. To an outsider, you can't really tell that Katsumi post-game is a fusion with RoD!Katsumi, since she pretty much acts the way she always does.

@RemenantDespiar Yes, though unlike Hajime, the joined personalities are a lot more discreet and less apparent to others :)

            No, Katsumi was still "captured" by the Future Foundation at the same time as the other Remnants of Despair. After the events of UDG, she can't rlly do anything as she's stuck with Nagito (+ Monaca). RoD!Katsumi also makes sure that Katsumi herself can't do much since they are aware of each other's thoughts by the end of the events of UDG. 
            
            RoD!Katsumi also wasn't a leader of the RoD. The group usually operated individually on their own accord. Most of them were doing their own thing and so was RoD!Katsumi. 
            
            Izuru arranged for all the RoD (Katsumi included) to purposefully get captured by the Future Foundation. Makoto originally thinks they are just HPA survivors taken into custody and anything Katsumi said would probably not be taken completely to heart because of her erratic and unstable behaviour with how much the two personalities keep fronting. So once the group's RoD identities are found out, Makoto quickly sends them out to Jabberwock Island to be put in the Neo World Program. Again, anything Katsumi says will not be taken to heart, but even more so bc her RoD status is known. Bc to an outsider. who's to say that the "good" personality is telling them the program could be bad? What if it's the "bad" personality trying to deceive them? Basically, there's nothing Katsumi can do to stop them from being put in the simulation :P
