So I've been hearing a lot about the new wattpad update of banning smut and stuff, so I'd like to give my own opinion about the matter.
Firstly, I won't be removing my works from here except wattpad decides to remove them, in that case I could migrate to inkint. But that's in extreme cases.
Secondly, I will not stop writing smut in my books, so no need to worry about that.
Thirdly, if you are one of the people who go around reporting people's works, I'd kindly ask for you to stop, the reason this platform is losing itself everyday is because of the actions of people who think it is write to report and hate on writing that they do not enjoy. Writing takes time and effort so respect that.
Fourth, tone down the use of AI please, this app was at it's peak when people were putting their heart and soul into it.
Fifth, if you are migrating to Ao3 (Archive of our own) or any other platform, please learn their rules and terms of use, do not go ve wattpaders a bad name and reputation by reporting without understanding. As someone with fics on Ao3 it makes me kinda embarrassed to see how a lot of wattpad readers/writers act entitled and behave on there.
And lastly, keep on supporting your favorite authors here, with votes, comments, engagements, and following because we all need motivation.
