My big brain DDLC theory
So I was looking on Youtube when I see this
In Warioware: Touched!, if you speed it up (record) you get a message saying "I have granted kids to hell."
Now you maybe wondering, "What the hell does this have to do with Doki Doki Literature Club?"
When you start up the game, you have chances of getting a different greeting that's not "This game is not suitable for" and all that jazz. Sometimes a message will be that but with a question mark at the end. Or you could get one saying "This is not a game for kids, mostly."
Here's a list:
"Play with me" (could be referring to Natsuki)
"It's just a game, mostly." (Monika?)
"null" (I would say this is Type:Null from Pokemon, but I'm not sure if Pokemon Sun and Moon/ Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon were released by then)
"It was only partially your fault." (Could be talking about Sayori or you making the mistake of joining this club)
"This game is not suitable for kids or those who are easily disturbed?" (Da hecc)
"sdafsdklfgsdfgsgoinrfoelvbd" (random string of letters)
"PM died for this." (Who's PM? Is it a person or just a character? Not sure.)
"Don't forget to back up Monika's character file." (MONIKAMMMMMMMMMMM)
"I have granted kids to hell" (focusing on this one more)
"You are my sunshine, My only sunshine" (song lyrics, could be relating to Sayori since she is connected to the word Sunshine in poems)
So the "I have granted kids to hell" is just like Warioware: Touched! with Ashley's song. Maybe this has a connection or Dan Salvato was inspired by it. It would make sense, because Warioware:Touched! was on the Nintendo DS console if I'm not mistaken.
Whelp thanks for reading m8s.
