I  write stories about love that refuses to end when it's supposed to.
Till Death Do Us Apart is my first novel - a gothic sapphic romance set in the fictional town of Stonemere, about a woman who dies and a woman who won't let her go. It took me longer than I expected and cost more than I planned, which probably means it's the right story.
I read Rebecca for the atmosphere, Normal People for the silence between sentences, and The Secret History for proof that literary fiction can be completely obsessive. That's what I'm trying to write.
If you read something that makes you close the tab for ten minutes before you can come back: good. That's the point.
