Jkr said that james (sirius) potter stole the marauders map from harry’s desk which is cool but let’s be real, Teddy should of got to have it if he didn’t, just like harry did. Like his father was on of the marauders. and like yeah James was James Sirius’ grandfather but James never feels like a grandfather. He died when he was 21 he never got that chance to be a grandfather. he never got a chance to be a father, really. When i think of grandparents i imagine an old couple who have lived their life and now get to rest and just watch you know. But James didn’t get there so he doesn’t feel like a grandfather. like none of the marauders lived till 40 and it’s one of the most depressing, bittersweet elements to the series. 4 boys, brothers, just living their life and then it all goes so wrong so quickly. one dead, one traitor, one framed, and one left alone. 
          
          
          sorry i just needed to rant, there is a lot more so if i get bored during english i’ll just rant some more lmao
