          I'm back from my hiatus and the move! Mr. Eli and I and our three cats are all moved into our new home in Scotland! I've also properly started my new job at University of St Andrews and it's going well so far. The university is quite unique and I'm getting used to living way up north!

          This week, Kaladin reveals a memory to Ember about their past that she's forgotten and the true reason he gave his heart to Ragna...it's a rather heartbreaking situation, but it also brings up questions about who Ragna really was back then too...
          
          I also want to let you know that I will be going on hiatus for a month starting today due to my move to Scotland and getting settled in. I was a little over ambitious about how much time I'd have to write while packing things up, so instead of going on hiatus for 2 weeks, I decided to give myself a month off. 
          
          If you can't wait for me to return to read more about Sana and Rhyel and the absolute drama this second book is heading into, feel free to read more on Patreon (you will be charged if you sign up, but billing is paused until 9th September.) Unfortunately, you can't subscribe to Inkitt while I've paused billing, but you do have Patreon should you wish to read more. 
          
          I've also outlined (in a pantser-ish kind of way) the story up to chapter 36 and when/if I have the time on my hiatus I'll be working on more of the story!

          I'm so sorry but there will be no updates from me this weekend.
          
          I've been in Scotland all week for my new job and house hunting. It's a very long story, but basically I was made redundant (laid-off) from my job on the 16th of July due to a mixture of Trump's politics and decisions made by senior management (I used to work for a US-UK life science organisation).
          
          Luckily, I was offered a position fairly soon after my redundancy. It's just this amazing position was in Scotland, specifically University of St Andrews (where Prince William went to school and where he met Kate Middleton–yeah, I still can't believe I'm working there!) I've also always wanted to live in Scotland and I can't believe this dream is coming true!!! 
          
          So, because of all of this I haven't been able to dedicate any time to writing this week. 
          
          I hope you understand, but I'll be sure to be back with updates next weekend!
