Gosh, I haven't updated this in about two years. How appalling!

Now, there is a profile picture lurking around here somewhere and I want to clarify that it is, in fact, NOT me. It's a stock image from somewhere and really isn't all that.

I write fantasy, mostly. It's sort of my jam. I dig it. My stories are medicinally approved by the FDA to make you feel better*. So you should probably check them out.

Finally, I'm more than happy to read your work and critique it upon request. However, my goal when critiquing is to help hone my own critiquing skills whilst helping the author improve their writing and story-telling skills. Hence, I'll tell you honestly what I think and what needs to be changed and why.

I lied. This is the finally-bit. I'm currently working on one main project, which is currently unnamed and takes place prior to the events of Shadows Bleed (for which a complete rewrite is currently pending). Rest assured, I am eagerly looking forward to sharing it once it has progressed a little beyond the first two chapters and sometime after Nanowrimo 2018 is over.

For anyone who has read Shadows Bleed, you might have noted a lack of emotional displays on Aeriae's part and, while this is entirely intentional, a First Person Perspective reduces the effectiveness of this kind of character. So, I will be returning to my roots of 3rd Person narrative and will make the revised edition available in due course. In the meantime, enjoy the current edition, the general gist of which the revised edition will, for the most part, still follow.

Anyhow, bringing this to a close.
