Two useless degrees, four piles of unshelved books, and a head with still some dreams.

I rode Highsmith's trains, freeloaded in Sōseki's houses, drank Renault's wine, listened to Isherwood's friends, and am currently chasing Nabokov's butterflies-by day, that is. By night I consume manga and webtoons with lights turned off.

For years I wrote essays about dead people's work and learnt to hate it. Now I write about love, friendship, minority's struggle, imposter syndrome, entering real adult life and noticing the odds are piled against you, regret, and hope. And other things humans feel and do.

I love it when my two favourite genres, literary fiction and sci-fi/fantasy, cross paths.

My current project, 『Refrain』, is a magical realist story set in Oxford, featuring time travel, classical music, halls and gowns, antique instruments, unfinished work, queer angst, and love, both lost and found.

In search of conversations and feedback on each other's work! So leave lots of comments and lemme know what you think xx
