Hey! I am just here to clear some confusion...
It's regarding my book 'The truth untold' and I have got many messages for readers asking me few doubts about it. So I thought why not clear them!
The truth untold has two lead protagonists and it's more of a sad romance, angst side.
I got many messages asking me whether Jungkook really killed Jennie, but no. Jungkook did intend to but never went forward to do so. It was nothing but a colossal coincidence. It also is to symbolize that now Jisoo is no one other than Jungkook.
Yes, Jungkook had drugged her. And all his attraction to her was only for sexual reasons. But later he falls for her and realizes the magic of love.
The irony here is that both of them loved each other at the wrong time. And that the truth untold was just a buttered version of a simple blank lie.
Different people might have different perspectives on this book. Most of the people here would have hated Jungkook during the entire reading process but to me, I find Jisoo to be the dumb one.
She should have fought when she realized the relationship was toxic, she should have stopped this before she took her valuable life. I understand she is in pain, but how long would the pain remain? With time pain will fade and she would be able to move on with life.
She took her life, she wasted it on Jungkook who was an absolute pervert.
This is just my perspective on my book and everyone's mind doesn't work the same. Do share your perspective on this too!
Also, the ending is an open-ended one, you as a reader can decide how it ends. 1. because Jisoo gave Jungkook forgiveness, he can finally move on with life. 2. he long back did decide that the moment he gets forgiveness, he will kill himself and go to her (where he belongs) 3. It was just his hallucination...
Now that I think I have covered the few confusions, hope ya all can enjoy the book!
Good day!
