Heeeey, came back from the dead to post a poem. It’s been rough, I’ve been stressed to the max for multiple reasons, and my asthma/pots is flaring up probably because of it. Just trying to get through the days. I’ll hopefully be back to writing regularly soon:)
But for now, enjoy a small poem written by me. It’s been awhile, so I’m definitely rusty.

@Eli_Mouse It sounds like the situation is taking on toll on both your bank account and your heart. I know how difficult it can be to watch an animal that you care about suffer from poor health. Even if the prescription is delayed, just remember that she'd be in a lot worse situation without you. You can only do what you can do. ❤️
so sorry for no updates! I’ve been a bit stressed out of my mind recently with vet bills, regular bills, groceries, blah blah blah. Life is hectic, our vet found a mammary gland mass on Kiko (the cat I just adopted from a shelter last month), and I hardly have enough money to keep taking her to the vet. Anyway, I won’t bore you with the deets, but I’ve just been overwhelmed and genuinely haven’t had the energy to write anything recently. I’ll update y’all when I feel up to it again.
@Eli_Mouse I have been there a lot when my dog needed to go to the vet. Having to pick and choose isn't fair to them either. On Tuesday night our dog had a stroke and we had to make the hardest decision of having him put down. We walked into the vet with Chance but walked out without him. I would say everything will be ok but im not so sure anymore. All I can say is keep on fighting.
@Evan_Binley thank you so much! Her blood panel came back really good, all normal, so hopefully it’s benign. But she’s nine years old and was only spayed the beginning of this year after being caught (she was found as a stray), so she has a higher risk of breast cancer. She’s the sweetest kitty, I just feel bad right now because I’ve had to take her to the vet way more than anticipated and her issues have been beyond what I was expecting, so I haven’t been able to get a prescription for her in a few days and it’s making me feel awful. I’ll figure it out, though:)
