McKenna Stephens is a writer and development executive based in Los Angeles with a lifelong love for dark, twisty stories. Raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she discovered early on that the safest place to explore fear, power, and imagination was on the page. At a young age, she became captivated by the 1987 horror film Dolls, sparking a fascination with suspense that continues to shape her storytelling today. Her career spans communications, broadcast journalism, and creative producing, but writing remains her first love. She holds an MFA in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College and a B.S. in Broadcast News from the University of Colorado Boulder.
