Elizabeth Gehris grew up as a military brat. She escaped into books as she moved around the world, and they inspired her imagination. She began writing at the age of twelve- starting off with meet-cute romances, and then transitioning into more adult fiction. After a love affair with chick lit, she began writing in this style. Then she realized she appreciated more plot heavy novels, and moved forward into fantasy romance, where her love for all things fairytale was realized. With her first novel, Of Myths & Men, she combines her love of classic children's fantasy with mythology. She is also inspired by the landscape of her beloved Yorkshire, where she spent many of her formative years. Mrs. Gehris lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where she enjoys the slow pace with her husband and three children. When not writing and spending time with family, she enjoys making jewelry, traveling, and, of course, reading.
